The Mylander Foundation

George Mylander, a native and life long resident of Sandusky, was a public servant who throughout his life supported and advocated for many local organizations and institutions that he held near and dear to his heart.

George Mylander created The Mylander Foundation in 1987 because Mr. Mylander believed that the private foundation concept provided the most positive, farsighted vehicle for the intelligent underwriting of the projects and programs of local charitable, educational, civic, governmental and religious organizations and institutions in a manner that would not be limited to his own lifetime.

Just as George had envisioned, since his death in 2016, The Mylander Foundation has and will continue to provide support to the projects and programs of local charitable, educational, civic, governmental and religious organizations and institutions.
